Welcome to my blog!

I want to start off by saying that this is not going to be your typical cooking or recipe blog. I love food, but I'm not the best chef. Besides, I don't think the internet really needs any more Pinterest fail blogs. Instead, I am going to write about something that I have always enjoyed - eating. More specifically, I am going to describe my experiences trying new flavors from a variety of local restaurants and cafes. All of the places that I try will be in the Northern New Jersey area, mainly Bergen and Passaic counties. I will review each establishment based on the atmosphere, food, service and overall experience. I'm on a mission to find more quality, affordable restaurants in NJ so that I can inform other people about alternatives to the many franchises and chain restaurants in this area.
